Kimberly Dawn Walker Herrera obituary

Kimberly Dawn Walker Herrera, 29, of Rigby passed away Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011.
She was born July 13, 1982, in Rexburg to Robert Keith Walker and Wendy Dawn Moss Walker.
She lived and attended schools in Rexburg and graduated from Madison High School. On Dec. 4, 2004, she married Keith Michael Herrera in Rexburg. To this union they added a son, Kade Alexander Herrera.
She worked at Artco, doing architectural renderings and most recently was employed as a service writer at Stones Town and Country, and a service manager at Madison Motor City. She was known for her excellent customer service skills and strong work ethic.
Kimberly was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a quick and affable smile. She was very talented, creative and also enjoyed art. From portraits to oil paintings, her zest for life was expressed through her talent. She loved animals, enjoyed growing plants and was an excellent cook. Above all, she was devoted to her little boy, Kade.
She is survived by her husband, Keith Michael Herrera and her son, Kade Alexander Herrera of Rigby; her parents, Wendy Walker of Parker and Robert (Daleicia Marie) Walker of Rexburg; sister, Jennifer Lynn (Jonathan) Bland of Rexburg; brothers, Steven Daniel Walker of Cheyenne, Wyo., Mark Robert Walker of Rexburg and Jeremy Dallin Walker of Rexburg; grandparents, David Isaac and Anna Jean Moss of Lima, Mont., Ada Dee (Wallace) Eldridge of Pocatello and Charlotte Louise Walker of Rexburg; in-laws, Kimber and Shelley Jones of Rexburg; sisters-in-law, Sonya Coles of Idaho Falls, Sandy (Briten) Rhodehouse and Becky Herrera, both of Rexburg; brothers-in-law, Zack (Taylor) Herrera of Idaho Falls and Frank (Sarah) Herrera of Fort Collins, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lorene H. Walker; grandfather, W. Keith Walker and an uncle, Levi David Moss.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011, at Garfield 5th Ward LDS chapel, 5 N. 3900 East, Rigby, with Bishop John Dunn officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby, 101 West Main St., and from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., prior to services at the church. Burial will be under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.eckersellfuneralhome.com.
